The mission of the Fleet Science Center is to realize a San Diego where everyone is connected to the power of science.
The Fleet Science Center connects people of all ages to the possibilities and power of science to create a better future. Since opening its doors in San Diego's Balboa Park in 1973, the Fleet Science Center has engaged, educated and inspired millions of people through exploration and discovery. The Fleet connects with communities, schools, science organizations, families and individuals through interactive experiences and collaboration 365 days-a-year, reaching more than 450,000 children and adults annually.
