We are seeking donations for The Larry Greene Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing, which will be held on Friday, June 16th at Mainland Golf Course in Harleysville, PA. Larry Greene was a beloved teacher and coach at CB East High School for over 20 years, who passed away in 2013 from Multiple Myeloma. In conjunction with his wife, Vivian, we have started a scholarship to be awarded to a graduating senior who exemplifies Larry’s characteristics. As a coach, mentor and friend, Larry encouraged many students to dig deep to overcome personal challenges. Larry's passion for life and overwhelmingly positive attitude, even during the time of great personal struggle, made him an inspiration to all.
We have different events throughout the year at our school to raise awareness about Multiple Myeloma, and to also raise money for the scholarship. The Golf Outing is our largest fundraiser by far. We would appreciate any donations that you could make to serve as prizes to our winning golfers, or as raffle items.
