The Playgarden is a not-for-profit school whose mission is to support, strengthen and inspire the growing child, family and community. We have been providing a nurturing early childhood environment for families of the First Coast for over twenty five years, just a few steps from the ocean in Jacksonville Beach. We are a Waldorf-inspired preschool and kindergarten which considers the whole child and teaches children with their head, heart, and hands. It is home to the first Forest Kindergarten in the Southeast U.S.
