The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
The assistance and services that The Salvation Army provides include but are not limited to holiday assistance, heating, electricity, rent, prescriptions, food pantry, gleaning, emergency lodging and soup kitchen and our Pathway of Hope program. This is designed to work hand in hand with our Comprehensive Emergency Services to assist those families who are willing and motivated to take the steps to prevent the continual cycles of crisis and poverty.
