The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
This year will mark the 45th anniversary of the event. This is the Troop’s only annual fundraiser and the event is not only a way to raise funds for the Troop, but also an opportunity to bring our community together in a social setting. Traditionally the dinner is attended by hundreds of residents in the community as well as family and friends. In addition to proceeds from ticket sales, we also depend on donations for our silent auction.
Troop 50 prides itself on being part of this wonderful community and has a remarkable track record of producing many outstanding youth leaders and Eagle Scouts each year. This event enables us to raise funds to carry out a host of valuable programs such as service projects that benefit the community we live in, youth leadership training and outdoor educational programs.
