OUR MISSION: To put God's love into action by helping refugees Stabilize, Integrate, and Thrive.
We provide services and resources through donations and the efforts of part-time staff and many volunteers who come alongside newly arrived people to help them as they transition to life in the United States, California, Orange County, their new city, and their local neighborhoods. We offer human care and resources such as furnishings, emergency clothing, and food. We host online and in-person English classes for pre-beginning adult learners who may not have access to adult schools or community colleges. We offer driver's education simulation, coaching, and volunteer-led practice. Case managers help newly arrived people navigate initial social services, education opportunities, and healthcare placement for our friends, while they settle into their new country. We offer social activities and cultural training for both the refugees and our fellow Americans. Relationships are built one person at a time. (It's really great!)
