Our mission is to stop domestic violence for everyone through intervention, education, and advocacy. Services are accessible at no cost to anyone in need, regardless of a survivor's age, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, religion, mental or physical disability, veteran or military status, immigration status, language spoken or socioeconomic standing. We offer services in English, Spanish, Creole, Russian and Portuguese. Last fiscal year, WID provided 3,051 domestic violence survivors with services including: emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis hotline, food, therapy, advocacy, counseling, legal services, childcare, transportation, employment assistance, onsite pet shelter and safety planning.
