Our mission is to improve lives through education. Our organization aims to support the school community in Harar, Ethiopia. Water is scarce in Harar, and the community suffers from a lack of clean water. We aim to provide clean water by digging wells in and around the schools so students and the community can utilize it. To date, we have completed four wells in four schools, which the neighborhood currently benefits from. However, the work is beginning; we have many more wells to complete.
We believe education transforms individuals to live better and quality lives, build community and contribute to the country's economy. Our organization is keen to seek donors to help disadvantaged students to pursue their education by providing basic needs. We offer over 70 students from three schools need-based and merit-based scholarships supported by generous donors. The program has motivated students to excel in their education and helped parents who otherwise could not have provided children with meals. We aim to expand the program to other schools and replicate the effort.
In addition, our organization provides much-needed school supplies to all the schools. These materials include but are not limited to computers, projectors, maps, globs, and much more.
