Blind and visually impaired individuals turn to Hadley to help them navigate and enrich their lives. We provide personalized learning opportunities that empower people to thrive -- at home, at work and in their communities.

Hadley serves all equally, regardless of location or income. We were virtual before it was cool. Our distance education model delivers learning to those impacted by vision loss in the format that fits their needs. Resources are accessible around the clock in any convenient location, and learning is free of charge to people with visual impairments and their families.

Hadley is not only virtual and accessible, it is also personal. One of the things that makes Hadley unique is that our learners have one-on-one contact with experts who are on hand to help, guide and support their individual learning needs, such as:

  • teaching skills for living with low vision;
  • enjoying personal enrichment;
  • supporting family members who are caring for children or aging parents; and
  • achieving or improving employment opportunities.

Hadley is also the largest educator of braille and provider of distance education for people who are blind or visually impaired worldwide. In fiscal year 2019 Hadley served more than 172,000 learners from all 50 states and in 65 countries with workshops, podcasts. lively discussion groups and hundreds of videos.
