Haverhill Recreation Commission
Quarter Auction Donation Request Letter
To Whom It May Concern;
The Haverhill Recreation Commission has recognized the need for more outdoor opportunities for our children.
Currently we lack a playground and therefore hope that you will take a few minutes to read about our upcoming event
and decide to participate by donating to our quarter auction.
On Saturday October 5, 2019 we will be hosting our very first quarter auction, at the Clifford Memorial Building
in Woodsville NH. We anticipate 100 guests at this function and all funds raised will go toward building a new
playground on the VFW field in North Haverhill, and maintaining the equipment and grounds. To make this event as
exciting and extraordinary as we hope, it will take community engagement from all our residents and business owners
like you.
We ask you to consider supporting our event by donating gift certificates, merchandise or services. In exchange,
you will receive excellent community exposure and advertising. Your company name, address, phone number and
donation will be listed on all auction brochures to be produced as it gets closer to the event.
We will gladly pick up your donation, or it can be mailed, or dropped off to the Recreation Office listed above. In
order for your item to be listed in the brochure we must receive it by Monday August 19, 2019. Please fill out the
attached donation form and return it to Sandi Pierce at Sandi.m.pierce@gmail.com . If you have any questions please do
not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you in advance for considering our request and for supporting your Haverhill Recreation Commission.
