Brian’s Mission A 501(C)(3) Not for Profit is to purchase Police Dogs for agencies that recently lost a dog in the line of duty; to rescue dogs from animal shelters and have them trained as service dogs for veterans; to pay the costs to train individuals who wish to be a Police Officer, Firefighter or EMT; to offer scholarships to high school students who want to go into criminal justice/law enforcement; and to award three (3) "go bags" per year to the student who graduates each academy class at the Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy and identified as the most improved cadet.

Officer Brian Kanterman died in the Line of Duty on Christmas Day 2018, at the age of 25. Over his lifetime he served as an EMT, Firefighter, Corrections Officer and Sheriffs Officer. Brian really made a difference in the world in which we live. He dedicated his life to service. It was his dream to be promoted to a K-9 officer and to find a way to help fill the void with Service Dogs for both Police and Veterans. When you are kind, caring and passionate about making a difference, no matter how old you are, you can move mountains. This charity was formed in his honor to help continue his legacy of service.

It is our hope to inspire all citizens to get involved and give back to those that give so selflessly to protect and serve. Together we can make a difference and have a positive impact in the world around us. By honoring Brian's fellow First Responders we honor him and his life; a life that was dedicated to protecting and serving the communities in which he lived.
